Book Style Kindle Case or Kindle Sleeves?
I tended to always favoured leather traditional jacket shape Kindle covers previously. These made my less than sleek 2nd gen Kindle feel more like a real paper tome. This type of cover also gave good armor to a gadget that was pricey, at approximately 250 dollars.
But my most modern Kindle wi-fi cost a mere , therefore can I truly excuse spending a ton of funds on a lavish leather-based book style jacket kindle 4 cover A number of leather Kindle jackets (including the ones that have built in lights) costs all but as much as the e-book reader itself! Outrageous!
Even if I could (and actually I could not!), there was of course, something besides to take into account;
the 4th gen kindle 4 readers are in basic terms magnificent to make use of just as they are!
Personally, i really didn’t want a great big ungainly jacket style kindle cover getting in the way. Because it feels so comfortable to use these small kindle 4 wo-fi readers in only one hand that a heavy kindle cover would change the user experience. Besides, with the different rubber backing on the 4th generation kindle these feel a lot more safe in your grip just how they are. I often used to be anxious about dropping my e-book reader whilst using it. Nowadays it is really “grippy” I don’t think That i could do with a kindle cover on it constantly “in case I drop it”.
Well then,, a book jacket style kindle case or a simple sleeve No contest, I bought a great sleeve style Kindle cover!
However, I understand that there can be instances when a jacket would seem more fitting:
1. If you need a reading light close constantly, without having to carry around anything too cumbersome you could desire a jacket that has a reading light included.
2. If you love to use the device “hands free” such as whilst eating, a flip stand kindle case would be a fine buy.
3. If you truly wish for the experience of holding a “real” book, a jacket type cover could help you get that feeling back!
Personally – there was no contest as it basically had to be a sleeve type of case, and not a jacket style cover!
The Next Ebook Reader From Amazon
We are hearing tons of new rumors at the moment in relation to the new Kindle electronic reader, that it genuinely is an exceedingly exciting phase. Previously this year we were told that E-Ink Holdings (the manufacturer that construct the current displays used in numerous modern ebook readers) had developed a next generation color version of these low energy, non back-lit technology.
Hanvon (a leading company producing eReaders for the Chinese market) show-cased a e-ink color ebook reading device at the tech conference in Las Vegas afterward everyone automatically imagined firms like Sony and Amazon.com would follow suit. But many felt the displays although impressive, were lacking in the boldness buyers would be likely to expect from full color. Hence thus far no full color personal readers are being taken to market in the us.
Then we saw Sony overhaul their entire range to incorporate touch-screen technology. Perhaps the shrewd move for Amazon would be to do away with their slightly old fashioned qwerty keyboard and including touch screen screens in its place. Thus far that appeared a no-brainer, nevertheless still nothing has come to light to show that the business are really veering that way (despite the fact that they did obtain the touch-screen manufacturing company “TouchCo” in 2010).
The huge sales of Barnes & Noble’s full color e-book reader, that was in reality a budget price tablet pc made trade insiders feel this would probably be the next stage for Amazon’s kindle as well, moreover that the new Kindle handheld reader might indeed be a tablet similar to the ipad.
Most current ebook reader users have no wish to move away from the long battery life along with easy to view screens that is the result of using e-ink e-ink. But there is a huge potential market for tablets, therefore conceivably this will be the route that the company will go.
